Mark started his career in Business Intelligence only a couple of years after BusinessObjects was founded and right at the start of the Data Warehouse and BI market explosion. He holds the rare distinction of having held roles as a customer, business partner and employee of Business Objects. In 2007, Mark founded Antivia, a BI software company that delivered enterprise integration for Xcelsius customers against their BusinessObjects content and DecisionPoint, a BI applications platform that allowed organisations to deliver easy to use BI applications via mobile and the web to help drive wider adoption and use of information.
