Module – 1: Discover the new BI 4.3 interfaces (BIP + schedule + WEBI)
In this hands-on session, you will experience the New BI 4.3 with the new Interface of the BI Launchpad completely revamped. You will discover how to find your documents, schedule and Publish them to a specific audience, and customize your Launchpad view. Then you experience the new WebI 4.3 interface. From the reading interface you will manipulate a document, discover how to jump to a specific section and adjust the report viewing to your screen. In addition you will learn how to analyze the document using Input Controls and Element Links before moving to the Design Interface where you will experience how to add a data provider, create a simple variable, and create and format a simple table and chart.

Module – 2: Create your very first WebI Data Model
In this hands-on session you will discover how to leverage existing documents in order to build your own document. We will start by experiencing the query creation, variable creation, Data Enrichment (Geo and Time dimensions), Data Provider merge, and then Create your very first document that will be leveraged in the WebI As Source workflow.
Attendees will figure out the advantages of leveraging an existing document compared to running a document and queries on top of a Universe or other Data Providers.

Module – 3: Building a WebI Dashboard in BI 4.3
In this hands-on session, you will be Consuming a WebI Document as Source of your data, you will create tables and advanced charts that you will feed and format using the Build Panels. You will see the new workflows which allow quick access to format option and quick “turn to”. You will also experience the contextual menus available via click or right click.
This hands-on will allow you to create an entire Dashboard step by step

Module – 4: Injecting interactivity into your dashboard
In this hands-on session, we will focus on guided Analysis through input controls and element linking.
Attendees will learn how to transform a flat table into an interactive piece of information, that will help them to filter and identify trends in their data.
We will also leverage the report part “Hide” option to inject interactivity in the document.
