Previously, critical vehicle sales reports were printed and hand delivered each morning to key executives. Mitsubishi Motors was moving to new offices in Franklin, Tenn. Without printing capability in Franklin we needed to find an alternative that provided the same key performance indicators executives used from each of the reports. So, we created a Vehicle Sales Executive Dashboard essentially broken down into the seven major business areas the reports address and provided links on the dashboards directly to the reports for more detailed reference. The dashboard contains key indicators for Sales Tracking, Sales Areas and Models, Shipping, Stock, Top50, Sales Velocity and Forecast orders.
Mitsubishi Motors chose BusinessObjects Web Intelligence 4.2 with its new graphical/dashboarding capabilities and simple implementation and was a natural fit since Webi was already widely in use.
